Halloween

Here are a few pictures of Meyah on Halloween. Have you ever seen such a cute flower? I know I haven't!!! Early in the day we went to Brian's work for some desk-to-desk Trick or Treating... then Halloween night we went to my sister's house to give Meyah an idea of what it's all about. We had a great night. Hopefully next year we can go visit a few more houses.

Brrrrrrrrr!!!

Seriously big time cold here the past few weeks. Meyah just couldn't stand being in the house anymore so we went outside for a while. I realize she has dried milk on her face (hopefully everyone understands you can only wipe your child's mouth off so many times a day before they start to think of it as some form of child abuse) but I REALLY love these picture. Just so cute in her new coat!

BATH

Bath time is Meyah's favorite...but I must admit, it's my favorite too. She is just so cute in the tub. She stays in till the water is cold and I'm dragging her out. She's a little fish.

She likes to line up her little bath animals on the side of the tub. She doesn't do this everyday, but when she does it cracks me up!

SUPER BABY

Meyah loves her hooded towel!!! At first she just wanted to put it on after she got out of the bath...but now she wants it on all the time. I put it on her and say "suuuuper baby" and she runs off laughing. She really is so dang cute. I wish all of you could see her in person, you would just want to eat her up!

New Purse

I have amazing in-law's! They have always been more then sweet to me, they treat me like a daughter. I know how lucky I am to have such great in-laws and my daughter is VERY lucky to have such sweet Grandparents!
Last week my in-laws were in town so we all met for lunch. I casually mentioned that I was going to get Meyah a purse because she loves to carry mine around... Well this is what Meyah got in the mail 2 days later.

1- Purse
2- Brush and Mirror for Purse
3- Assorted Snacks to go in Purse
4- Laminated picture of Grandpa so she can keep it with her at all times (in her purse)
5- A new toothbrush, because they know she loves them
6- New pair of p.j's
7- New Alphabet toy for the refrigerator

Family Rule

When my husband went back to school we started a "family rule". One night a week will be spent together as a family. No interruptions, no friends.... just family activities and time spent together. So, a few weeks ago we took Meyah to the Gateway Mall downtown. There are a lot of fun thing for her to see and do there. First we took her to Discovery for kids, then we went to the huge fountain. She loved it and was so tired by the time we left.

San Francisco Trip

A few weeks ago I went to San Francisco with some of my siblings. Kristi, Angi, Ron and I went to see my brother Rich. Seriously, it was such a fun trip. We laughed and told stories from when we were kids. It was a super short trip but totally worth it. We left Thursday night at 7 and drove all night. Friday we went to Fisherman's Worf and did a little shopping.
Saturday we went on a tour of Alcatraz prison, I would highly recommend this to anyone going to San Fran. Alcatraz was probably my favorite part, I didn't think I would like it that much but it was really cool. Saturday night we went to a movie and about 20 minutes before the movie was over... EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!! Ya, there was a 4.2 earthquake and we were right in the middle of it! I can honestly say with 100% certainty that it was the scariest thing I have ever experienced. It only lasted a few seconds but that was long enough to totally freak us out! Anywho, after the Earthquake shock wore off we were able to enjoy some time with my brothers Family. We went to a soccer game of Sams and hung out Gordi, Tony and Ben. They are such awesome boys and I'm so glad we got to spend some time with them. This was a much needed trip for everyone and I don't think it couldn't have turned out any better.

I just think this is a really cute pictures everyone... and can I just say how hilarious is my sister Kristi, laying across the table like a model. It's so funny. I laughed so hard when I took this picture, knowing I would make fun of her on my blog.
After the terrifying earthquake we went back to my brother's house to find his wife (Shannon) and all the boys totally calm, watching tv. Mind you, we are still freaking out. So we had the kids make room for us and all hung out in the master bedroom. The adult Bridge people were depending on Shannon and the kids to calm us down. Anyway we just stayed in this room and watched tv for a while then after our hearts went back to their normal and safe rate we went to bed.
