I went to Chicago with 2 of my sisters (we were all sad my sister Angi wasn't able to come) a few weeks ago. It was such a fun trip. It's so good to laugh so hard and long that your cheeks hurt. I love my sissy's so much and I'm so glad I got to go with them. Most of the pictures were taken with my phone so they are not the best quality....

We found out while we were there that the tattoo Convention was being held at the Navy Pier. You want a tattoo you go to the tattoo convention, right!!!??? SO my sister Karri did it! We watched and laughed. It was fun. She's wanted one for a really long time and I think she loves it.

Okay, we're not being stupid.Yes we are indoors with out glasses on but only for the picture, I swear. We all three got nice new glasses while in Chicago. Some much nicer then others.... see below

These are my sisters $436.00 Tiffany and Co sunglasses. They called to her and there was no possible way for her to walk away from them. Love at first sight!
I'm not really sure how much description this picture needs... She walked right over the grate not even thinking about the air that comes up through them... It was funny so we re-inacted the event for the picture.

Denver Trip

A few weeks ago we went as a family to Denver to attend Brian's Grandma's 80th birthday party. Of coarse I was an idiot and forgot my camera but Jake (brother-in-law) sent me the pictures he got. We had such a good time in Denver. It was so much fun to see Brian's family... some that I've never met before. They were all so sweet and I'm so happy we were able to make it to the party. We love you Grandma Mary! Hope you loved your Birthday Surprise!

The first night we went to Dave and Busters... Seriously that is a fun place. Anytime I get to play Skee-ball and feel okay about it I'm happy. We all loved it, it was a blast. Carrie and Jake. This is Brian's sister and her Hubby. We had a good time together.

You don't interrupt this level of concentration! She is going to win this dancing game if it's the last thing she does!!!!
The next day we had a few hours to spear before the big surprise party so we went to the Butterfly Pavilion. Seriously awesome place. There are so many amazing butterflies everywhere, it's overwhelming. We loved it! I could have stayed there for hours except it was freaking hot and you know I don't do Hot!

Meyah Delaynee is 2

This post is a month late... our baby girl turned 2 years old on May 22. We had a great day. Meyah had lots of fun and ate lots of cake... what more could you ask for.


This birthday was so hard for me, I just can't believe my baby love is 2 years old. I remember in great detail every second of the day she was born. The case worker handed her to me and I knew I would never be the same. Love is not a big enough word.

This is my favorite picture. Isn't she so sweet! Seriously, I know I'm bias but that is an amazingly beautiful baby!

This is the sand pile we got Meyah for her birthday, it was a big hit. I swear my house will never be the same! No matter what I do there is sand all over my house... on my tile floor... in the bathtub... in the bed!

Here is Meyah with her Auntie Lewie (Alycia (Lewie) is really Meyah's cousin (my niece) but she wants to be called Auntie because she doesn't want to "just" be cousins). Isn't my niece so beautiful? She is so sweet, she loves Meyah so much! She is so great with her. We (Meyah and I) love her very much!

Meyah and I decided to go downtown and see the flowers at Temple Square. It's so amazing down there right now everyone should really go see it. We had such a fun day. Here are LOTS of pictures.
